A label? Yes, but which one and why?

In the energy sector, being labelled will give credibility to your CSR approach with your customers and suppliers. Here is a selection of the main labels that will enable you to affirm your desire to include your company in a solid CSR approach.

Committed CSR label : This is the Rolls Royce of labels!

This label is currently the only internationally recognized label based on the ISO 26000 standard. The committed CSR label is aimed at all types of organisations, from very small businesses to multinationals, regardless of their maturity in terms of social and environmental responsibility. It aims to establish the guidelines for CSR within your company, in compliance with the major international founding texts such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the conventions of the International Labour Organisation…

High Energy Performance Label (HPE) : this certifies that a building complies with a set of standards that include the requirements of the thermal regulations and the respect of an energy performance level higher than the regulatory requirement. To protect the environment and encourage the reduction of energy consumption, the law imposes strict standards on the construction and renovation of housing.

Created in 1978 and integrated into the construction and housing code, the HPE label is a quality approach that integrates all activities related to the design, construction, operation and maintenance of a new building. To qualify, a building must be thermally efficient and also be certified for safety, durability and operating conditions of the heating, hot water, air conditioning and lighting systems. The label judges the building on its overall quality.
